[glow=purple,2,300]The Black Rhino:[/glow] It's interesting that I'm fighting a Canadian in my first match in Hawaii. When I fight abroad, I'm almost always matched up against the hometown favorite. From the kickboxing rings in Thailand to the sandpits of Kuwait, I've never been able to catch a break from fighting men in their own backyards. This is a relief to me, and it's also a good sign that fighters from all across the globe are meeting here to do battle. It's a revival of the tradition set by the ancient Greeks when they fought eachother without restriction in Pankration contests.
I don't know much about my opponent's fighting style, but it's likely I wouldn't change my approach to fighting if I did. I have a weak chin, and I'll be the first to admit that. If a good, strong fighter cracks me a good one on the button, I'm going out. The trick is to not keep my head where he wants it to be and to clock him before he tries to clock me. It's hard to hit a moving target when both of your eyes are swollen shut.
