General Information Poser Picture: Name: Arjen Van Den Oetelaar Profile Home Town: Amsterdam, The Netherlands Style: BOXING, MUAY THAI, JUDO Age: 40 Height: 6'3" Weight: 228 lbs. Occupation: Coach Training Partners: Anton DeJonge Titles/Accomplishments: Black belt in judo, 15-10 as a professional boxer Entrance Theme: Combat Attire: Aqua coloured jammer, white shinguards and red knee pads or solid red singlet Bio: Arjen's story in fighting is a tragic one. He began his martial arts journey as a top level judoka and muay thai practioner in The Netherlands, but began suffering severe knee pain so he switched to professional boxing where throughout the 1980s he was mostly a gatekeeper. Several years later he underwent radical and state-of-the-art knee surgery and rehabilitation under the Aldous Hauser clinical institute. Arjen had intended to participate in the early forms of worked shoot fighting to fully utilize his entire arsenal of techniques, but each time he tried out the leagues either shut down or turned him down because of the youth movement going on in puroresu where they refused to train anyone at the dojos who was over the age of 35. Arjen in the meanwhile lived vicariously through fellow Dutch man Anton DeJonge but always desired to compete himself. Arjen finally had enough and signed up to fight under the unregulated Hawaiian Vale Tudo organization with no such age restrictions.
