Experimenting with using commentators for this show how you enjoy. Most of this shit is improvised
On the camera a studio is revealed with the smell of fresh paint on a counter where behind are television monitors displaying various Pancrase highlights. Ed Lauzon is the camera operator who pans towards the short, dark haired half Chinese half white American Robert Yu rustling a stack of papers on his desk because he remembers his lines about as well as Christopher Walken. From the onset the footage looks like it was done in a low budget borderline public access style area with its grainy picture quality.
Robert Yu: Welcome everybody to Pancrase – Real and Valid on ImagiWasian television, bringing Asian culture to the majority Anglo-Saxon community. I am here with analyst Eric Mann whose credentials include Greco roman wrestling world titles and an official Pancrase hybrid wrestling instructor. Thanks for joining me today to commentate on what is shaping up to be an excellent card.
Eric Mann: No problem at all however I doubt you have any legitimate credential s which should allow you to sit alongside myself.
Robert Yu: I do happen to have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do for your information however that is not the point.
Eric Mann: Mann chuckles under his breath at the idea of Robert Yu being a black belt in anything not even Tae Kwon Do No seriously how did you get this job?
Robert Yu: Well after I got out of house arrest for selling contraband cigarettes I joined this fraternity which helped me get this commentary gig. Oh and I am no longer selling nor smoking contraband cigarettes anymore, Lucky Strike is the only brand of cigarettes I will ever smoke anymore!
Robert Yu takes a Lucky Strike Green out of his front suit pocket and begins to smoke it.
Eric Mann: Before we go too off topic why don’t you introduce us to the first match Rob?
Robert Yu: Its Tomasz or should I say Thomas Pudzi...a...nowsky is it?
Eric Mann: Its Tomasz Pudzianowski for your information and I just so happen to be his trainer.
Robert Yu: Whatever he’ll be fighting Minoru “Wolf Mask” Sakakibara, I hope I got that one right. Can you tell the viewers Eric information they need to know about these fighters.
Eric Mann: From training with Tomasz I can tell you and everyone that he is strong, and his throws are excellent. In fact his throwing is sort of becoming a blend of judo and Greco roman wrestling due to training with me without the gi. Certainly not what Dr.Kano envisioned when discovering the gentle way. Originally he was training for a debut in no holds barred pitfighting competition and was seen as a ground striker and brawler of sorts. Training with me however he is adapting that incredible positioning and pinning ability into actually getting submissions. Slowing but surely his technique is improving.
Robert Yu: And what about the man they call Wolf Mask?
Eric Mann: He is a pro wrestling convert however do not be fooled. His “strong-style” of stiff kicks learnt from years of wado ryu karate which he holds a black belt in and practising muay thai in Thailand as well. However where I believe he will fail is his lack of size, strength, formal training and competition. Most of all Tomasz is in my opinion a far superior grappler even with all of Minoru's training at the Kyoto Pancrase Dojo.
Robert Yu: I truly believe Minoru will give a valiant effort and could very well put off the upset with speed and kicking ability.
Eric Mann: Get ready folks this is some real and serious wrestling.
Robert Yu: Minoru coming out to an 8 bit rendition of a heavy metal song he really is serious about his gimmick hell he even has a son named Mario who has aspirations himself of someday following in his father's footsteps.
Minoru jumps up the top turnbuckle and howls up in the air.
Robert Yu: Two video game lovers going at it tonight!
Tomasz Pudzianowski walks down to the ring with a cold stare and when he enters yells to with intensity.
Robert Yu: Tomasz in the red and white singlet and Minoru in the blue, black, and yellow tights...wait he is seriously going to fight while wearing the mask?
Eric Mann: Hopefully it won't impair his vision.
Minoru circles around Tomasz and tries to get away. He throws a stiff kick right to his thigh and follows it up immediatly with a spinning back kick to the abdomen. Tomasz throws a wild swinging palm strike which grazes Minoru's cheek bone and chin. Tomasz charges in for an attempted clinch but eats a knee to the ribs for his trouble. Minoru gains the thai clinch and manages to slip in a couple of knees to the head. Minoru throws a knee to the thigh and Tomasz powers his way out of the thai clinch and tries a foot sweep which sends Minoru stumbling off balance. Tomasz follows up with a drop ouchi gari which takes Minoru down to his back. Tomasz grabs Minoru's legs with both of his powerful arms and hops over to his side. Minoru desperately tries to push on Tomasz's head but he buries it into his chest. Tomasz controls Minoru and throws knees to the side of him while jamming his forearms into his throat which visibly pain Minoru. Minoru turns into Tomasz to escape but is pushed back down to the mat.Minoru rolls again and stands back up to his feet but Tomasz attempts a heel trip. Instead Minoru nails Tomasz with a left knee straight to his face. Tomasz falls and loses a point. The referee begins to count. Tomasz gets up a a count of 7.
Minoru rushes in to try and finish and throws palm strikes left and right which Tomasz blocks but he is nailed with a body kick. Minoru steps back and throws a flying roudhouse kick which grazes Tomasz' head. Tomasz pushes Minoru to escape from being cornered which practically sends Minoru flying to the mat. Minoru hops back up and Tomasz grapples with Minoru again this time going for a greco clinch. Tomasz suplexes Minoru who is shocked for a second but gets up again. Tomasz regains control over Minoru with a whizzer and hits a spectacular hip throw landing sending Minoru crashing to the mat. Tomasz postures up and throws punches to the ribs of Minoru. Minoru gains a double armbar though! Tomasz places his knee into Minoru and tries to break free and LIFTS Minoru into the air! He is slammed hard on his back into the mat. Tomasz follows up with brutal punches to Minoru's abdomen who is stunned and has the wind knocked out of him. Tomasz easily passes to side control and gains a half crucifix on one arm. He tries to get a keylock on the one arm but opts to instead continue punching Minoru in the abdomen. He can't take it anymore and taps out.
Tomasz Pudzianowski wins via submission (strikes)
