Yosuke Morimoto comes out to the “Fletch Theme” by Harold Faltermeyer wearing his shiny black robe embroidered on the back is the Pancrase logo. The crowd in attendance chants “YOSUKE! YOSUKE! YOSUKE!” Morimoto has a serious and focused look on his face while climbing up the steps to the ring. He bows to all four sides of the ring and then takes off his robe while walking towards his corner. Yosuke warms up by stretching out his groin.
Quite the contrast to the reserved Morimoto Rameau Ouedraogo carries the South African flag draped over his shoulder while singing his theme “Get up, Stand up” by Bob Marley. The crowd is silent in awe and respect of Rameau’s perfectly sculpted body along with a face more scarred then what a 21 year old should have from brutal pitfights back home. Rameau goes to his corner and raises his arms looking surprisingly confident going against the former King of Pancrase. Eric Mann is in his corner.
The referee wearing oddly tight blue slacks tells the rules to both fighters and to shake hands before going back to their corners.
The bell rings and Rameau comes out with his right palm cocked and left pawing out trying to figure out the distance. Yosuke keeps his hands up high and is light on his feet. Yosuke circles and throws a left low kick to Rameau’s thigh. No attempts to check and Rameau shrugs it off. Yosuke attempts to follow it up with another kick not wanting to throw strikes with Rameau but eats a straight right palm strike. Yosuke stumbles back and Rameau changes levels and CHARGES! With a double leg takedown that goes right through Yosuke going from the center of the ring all the way to the corner. Yosuke gets his back against the corner but trying to wall walk fails and he gets taken right back down. Rameau is now in Yosuke’s guard and throws two hard left punches to the rib and liver area and follows up with a right palm strike to the head while Yosuke’s head is up. Yosuke pushes off and gets back to his feet but Rameau is RELENTLESS going back to a single leg takedown. He leaves his head wide open and Yosuke jumps to a guillotine. Rameau struggles to get out and gurgles but grabs the ropes to escape The referee yells ESCAPE!
Yosuke 5 Rameau 4
The fight is stood up and Rameau immediately clinches with Yosuke. He fires a punch straight to the liver and Yosuke cringes falling into the ropes. Yosuke bounces off and leaves his head wide open for a right palm strike hook. YOSUKE IS DOWN! The crowd is shocked to see their hero knocked down however he manages to get up at a count of 8
Yosuke 4 Rameau 4
Rameau looks to follow up and clinches again with Yosuke, Getting a body lock he throws a couple of knees to the legs and body but are ineffective. Rameau realizes this and first attempts a belly to belly throw but instead changes level for another double except this time he lifts the Japanese hero up and SLAMS HIM HARD INTO THE MAT. Yosuke manages to gain half guard but Rameau wraps his arm around his head. Rameau locks Yosuke down by controlling his head and arm like a neck crank or half nelson and fires off more palm strikes to his body and head. Yosuke lifts his arm to protect his face and Rameau locks it down into his face. Yosuke is straight jacketed and cannot move, He fakes a keylock and showing surprising submission savvy RAMEAU ATTEMPTS AN ARM TRIANGLE! This time Yosuke is forced to grab the ropes
ESCAPE! Yosuke 3 Rameau 4
Standing up Yosuke looks down but not out. He throws a body kick this time with authority but leaves it lazily out in the open for Rameau to catch it. He tries to do a single leg but Yosuke rolls and catches his leg. Rameau is trapped in a kneebar in the middle of the ring and tries to desperately find a way to escape. Eric Mann is yelling at Rameau to escape but he taps out to the knee bar!
The referee raises Morimoto's hand as the crowd cheers. He respectfully bows again to all four sides of the ring and checks out Rameau to see if he is ok.

Fabio Zulick tries hard to show no emotion while he comes down to the ring but in his mind is incredibly nervous. His posse is rather small consisting of mostly a couple jiu jitsu players from Perth and Sao Paulo. He goes to his corner and leans against it taking a few deep breaths.
Junior Bowden comes out looking ice cold and having a blank stare trying to seem like he doesn’t care but who wouldn’t be pumped up from Maximum Carnage? Styles Bowden and Alex Cook are in his corner, absent from both corners is Larry Papadopoulos, who doesn’t want to show any kind of bias against either of his fighters. Junior enters the ring and shows off some flashy and athletic kicking manoeuvres before going to his corner. Junior is wearing the pink with white trim shorts while Fabio Zulick is wearing the green vale tudo spandex shorts with yellow trim.
Stanley Fishman comes out with a microphone to say a few words.
Stanley Fishman: Now I know you guys are training partners but this is the best I could do on short notice. Still, I want you both to put your friendships behind and kill each other. Seriously though just have an entertaining fight, sometimes when two guys know each other so well their work is excellent.
Yosuke Morimoto shakes his head down at ringside fresh off his win.
Fishman whispers into his Japanese translator’s ear saying not to make an exact translation of what he said.
The two stare each other down and show their respect by touching knuckles. The referee gives instructions but is distracted for a second by Junior Bowden’s bright pink shorts, eventually snapping out of it.
Fabio Zulick’s starts out with his hands close to his face but his chin is sticking up maybe a little too much. Junior Bowden is light on his feet with hands closer to his hips shuffling his legs back and forth. Fabio throws a front kick to the body that is blocked by Junior who steps forward and foot sweeps Fabio landing right on his ass. Fabio butt scoots and keeps his hand up to defend while Junior circles left and right keeping his distance making sure not to get locked up by the new BJJ black belt. Fabio stands and grabs a leg dragging Junior to the ground. Junior first attempts to take the back of Fabio in a scramble but Fabio’s turtle guard is too strong. Fabio continues to drive forward with the single leg but Junior does a figure four leg scissor around Fabio’s head to defend rather than attempting a sprawl. The referee stands the two back up for stalling after not progressing on the ground. Junior throws a side kick but Fabio sidesteps and throws a straight palm strike that grazes Junior’s cheek. He spins and catches Fabio in the stomach with a spinning back kick recounter. Fabio stumbles back and rolls completly backwards with the kick landing in a defensive jiu jitsu posture. Junior throws kicks to the leg of the downed opponent before attempting to pass the guard using a cartwheel. The crowd claps uncharacteristically being silent. Fabio regain his guard and locks in a kimura from his back. Junior braces himself for the submission but is swept cleanly onto his back into mount. Fabio is reluctant to attempt some ground and pound. Junior keeps his hands in tight for defense against the armbar even though Fabio almost gets his arm pinned for a keylock or armbar. Fabio attempts a forearm choke after faking an armbar but Junior is too smart to get caught and turns his head to relieve the pressure. He tries the armbar again except he switches to a triangle choke that is locked in tight. Fabio rolls to his back but Junior continues to defend the choke and manages to pass the guard of Fabio. Fabio quickly gets back to half guard and holds out for the kimura again. Junior tries to use his speed to counter with an armbar but Fabio rolls with it and lands in Junior’s open guard. Fabio falls back for a straight ankle lock and Junior is in incredible pain. He rolls to relieve the pressure but eventually is forced to grab the ropes.
ESCAPE!
Fabio Zulick 5 Junior Bowden 4
The fight resumes standing u, knowing he is down by a point Junior throws a high kick that grazes the top of Fabio’s head. Junior spins around and Fabio immediately grabs a body lock. Junior tries to wrist lock Junior in order to escape the hold but instead tries a knee straight to the body which causes Fabio to drop briefly to a knee. Still holding on Fabio is nailed with a follow up knee to the face. Fabio uses the momentum to take the fight down to the ground again by grabbing underneath his leg and sweeping the other foot. Junior gets back to his knees and locks in a head scissors which causes Fabio to grab the ropes.
ESCAPE!
Fabio 4 Junior 4
Junior throws a high side kick but Fabio charges and body locks Junior from behind. He defends the suplex but Fabio hops onto Junior’s back. Fabio drags Junior back down to the ground and tries desperately to get the rear naked choke but Junior keeps a firm survival posture. Fabio switches to an armbar rolling Junior onto his back. Junior clasps his hands close together when suddenly the bell rings.
The time limit is over.
The match is a draw and the referee raises both fighters’ hands. The two shakes hands and hug each other.

Clay Miller comes out all smiles looking glad to have made it into Pancrase. His whole posse consisting of Ray Wizard ,John Lober, Larry Papadopoulos, and Bas Rutten comes out to cheer for him. When he enters the ring his expression changes drastically to that of being focused and pumped up.
Vince Cecchine has a mixture of veteran composure, however he is trying hard to hide intense anger inside of him. His posse consists of Eric Mann, a still disappointed Rameau Ouedraogo always a loyal towel man, along with his coach Eric Mann.
While the referee gives final instructions Vince staresdown Clay intensely but Clay simply gives a cocky smirk.
Clay Miller comes charging out to the center of the ring while Vince Cecchine waits for him to come into him. Clay throws a hooking palm strike but Vince keeps him at a distance by throwing a right thrusting sidekick followed up with a left high kick that grazes Clay and makes him stumble back. Vince goes in and grabs a thai clinch throwing a few knees to the head and body of Clay. He switches to double underhooks on Clay who is not making it easy to get on the inside by staying tight. After pummelling in some more Vince gets the Greco roman clinch and tries an inside trip against Clay who stays balanced. Vince tries to ragdoll Clay but he is too strong. Clay reverses Vince and gets him into the corner where he launches shots to the body. Vince goes wide with an outside osoto gari esque trip but Clay sidesteps causing Vince’s takedown attempt to fail and Clay landing on top in a loose side control. Vince bridges in an attempt to escape but Clay pins Vince’s nearside arm using his hand to push down and bringing his knee across. Clay has Vince in a half crucifix position and tries a keylock on the farside arm. Vince slips out and bridges into Clay trying to get an underhook but leaves his farside arm open again this time for a kimura attempt. Clay switches the kimura to a straight armlock which forces Vince to grab the ropes to escape. Clay realizing his size, strength, and jiu jitsu ability are effective fakes a straight palm strike and shoots for a takedown. Despite his small frame, Vince uses his wrestling ability to sprawl and defend the takedown of Miller. Miller continues to drive forward and takes Vince down to his butt. Vince attempts a guillotine and switches to a sweep. Clay has a very strong base and tries to fight it off but is dumped into side control but Vince leaves his leg out slightly and Clay gets back to half guard. Vince tries to pass the half guard but Clay lets go at the last second and scrambles back to his feet. Vince is on all fours and locks Vince’s body. He tries to get his back while Vince stands up. Vince breaks free and even attempts a standing kimura to no avail. Clay fakes a takedown and Vince attempts a knee but leaves his right side open for a left body shot that cripples him. Clay follows up with a straight right palm strike that sends Vince down to the canvas. He struggles to get back to his feet at the count of 9. Clay taunts Vince telling him to fight back and SLAPS him in the face. This ANGERS Vince who shoots for possibly the hardest and fasted double hes ever attempted struggling to get the bigger man down to the ground switches to a high crotch that is still defended by Clay. Vince then clinches and goes to a fireman’s carry which finally takes Clay down gets clapping from the Japanese crowd who love to see drama. Clay scrambles and gets to all fours. Vince grabs Clay’s leg and goes for a calf crank. This forces Clay to wince in pain and grab the ropes. Vince realizes that Clay’s leg is probably hurt and when the fight stands up tries a flying scissor and switches to a heel hook. Clay defends well and sits back. He eventually breaks free and stands to his feet but Vince gains an ankle pick takedown. Vince goes hunting for the leg again but time runs out. Clay Miller wins in the main event by a point decision against the savvy veteran! 3-4
